If there is one brand of makeup/skincare that smells the sweetest, it’s Vecua Honey!

I was so glad that Vecua Honey (VH) sent this lovely package my way with items handpicked to suit my preferences (Thank you!)! The products from VH are carefully made with the finest natural ingredients, sourced from the four corners of the earth. Cheers to no animal testing as well! Made in Japan, VH products enrich both your skin and soul as they are blended with ingredients such as honey, fruits and flowers. Hence, you’ll be sure to detect the sweet, aromatic honey scent that will soothe your mind and body!

There are two ranges from VH:
Nature Honey (skin, hair and body care products with aesthetic benefits) and
Wonder Honey (body, makeup and beauty care products)

Each of the products in both ranges uses a honey extract plus floral blend formula that has been carefully balanced to achieve optimal moisture retention on your skin. The products are suitable for all skin types, as they are mild in acidity, and do not contain alcohol, mineral oils, or colouring.

I love the cute packaging that “houses” all the products picked for me! Having only time to try the makeup range, this review is going to be more on the makeup items, mainly the blusher, BB cream, cream eyeshadow and lip gloss.

Nature Honey – BeeB Royal Cream UV 01, S$29 (30g)

The BeeB Royal Cream UV is a skin-friendly BB cream made from honey and non-chemical formulations. It does not contain mineral oils. It hydrates skin and helps retain moisture so that skin is smooth and firm. With SPF 36 PA+++ benefits, the BB cream blocks harmful UV rays and can be used daily as a moisturising serum for anti-ageing care. However, as I have medium skintone, the BeeB Royal Cream UV 01 is too lightly tinted for me and is more suitable for those with lighter skin tone. Wished that 02 (medium) was sent to me instead, but nevertheless, I do like the texture and especially the scent of the BB cream. Note that it doesn’t provide much coverage, so it’s kind of more suitable for skin without too much of hyperpigmentation like me.

Wonder Honey Cherry Cheek – Fresh Cherry, S$ 25.00 (30g)

Emit natural radiance with the Wonder Honey illuminating powder, made with silky and fine milled powder. It comes in a fresh blend of three colors, orange, pink and beige gold. This is a basic natural colour that every girl needs! It has a fragrance of fresh cherries (ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!) and the main ingredients are honey, royal jelly, yoshino cherry tree leaf extract. When blended out, the blusher appears to be an orange coral, slightly metallic. It gives a healthy flush to my cheeks and I love it!

Wonder Honey – Honey Dew Cream Eye Shadow Starlight, S$19 (3.7g)

For enchanting, starry eyes, this Honey Dew Cream Eye Shadow bewitches with its warm purple starlight shade and subtle sparkle to create that iridescent pearly effect. It is formulated with the moisturising ingredients of honey and royal jelly to condition and nourish eyelids. The silky and creamy shadow applies on smoothly and blends easily. However, the colour is pretty sheer on my medium-toned lids and I personally think would complement lighter lids. You can also use it as an eyeshadow base to enhance the colour of your powder eye shadow, which I do. It is accompanied by a gentle honey scent as usual. Note that on oily lids, this tends to crease.

Wonder  Honey- Honey Dew Lip Essence – Cherry  S$22.00 ( 11g)

Apply the Honey Dew Lip Essence for a juicy and shimmery pout. The lip essence applies on transparently with a cheery hue for a pearly pink shine and comes in a gentle honey fragrance. The serum melts quickly into lips, giving it an instant boost of moisture and nourishment. However, I haven’t used this enough to feel the nourishment yet so I will continue to try this out on bare lips, on top of lipsticks and lipstains to have a full feel of it. Smells really sweet though and it makes me want to lick my lips 😉 Deeeeelicious!
