Oopsie, I am a day too late but well, better late than never, right? Anyway, I have been really busy this weekend I didn’t had time to update. There were so many sweet Valentine’s Day collections that launched just to provide you with a variety of gift options for your beloved friends, family members and your significant other, with LUSH’s V-Day Gift Set – Lots of Love being one of the many!

I chose to write about this collection even though Valentine’s is over because I’ve always been a huge lover of their bath bombs and bubble bars, especially when I travel. I never fail to bring a couple of them with me so that I can soak myself in a bathtub full of essential oils after a long day of travelling!

The LUSH Lots of Love gift set consists of several of their bestselling bath products which I believe is carefully put together to celebrate the season of love!

Well, let’s kick start this review with the iconic SEX BOMB. I love the name of this one, hahaha. The Sex Bomb Bath Bomb (S$13.50) is a must for any romantic bath. This world famous sphere of sex appeal contains all of Nature’s most potent and seductive ingredients from the folks at LUSH to get you in the mood for a good… bath (hey, what are you thinking?!).

Containing scintillating jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang, these powerful aphrodisiacs will relax and soothe your senses while soya milk softens your skin as you enjoy a luxurious soak. It’s called Sex Bomb for a reason. I’ll leave it to your imagination… 😉

Fancy a Lover Lamp Bath Bomb (S$11)? This ball of love made with Fair Trade organic cocoa butter will get you melting into an amorous embrace of softening water as butter hearts coat your skin in heavenly moisture.

Relax in a whirl of chocolate orange notes, Fair Trade vanilla absolute and Brazilian orange oil. It’s best if you have your significant other whisper sweet nothings into your ear while you soak your worries away. The scent of Lover Lamp is sure to linger in your mind and on your skin all day long.

If your love life is stalled, you need a touch of magic. Inspired by a spell used to stir passions, Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb (S$12.50) is a love potion made with precious rose (rose buds embedded) and orris root. Rose is the flower of love and passion. Containing rose perfume, this little heart will aid in easing tension, giving you positive vibes (just like falling in love)!

Oh, they say you can’t buy love, but Orris is one of the most expensive perfumery materials in the world and you can buy that 😉

Done with the bath bombs? Let’s make bubbles in our bath, shall we?

*Smoochies*! Yes you got it, it’s A French Kiss Bubble Bar (S$15)! Escape to the lavender fields of Southern France with herbal rosemary and thyme. Interesting how this bubble bar contains ingredients you usually use for cooking! There is additional extra virgin coconut oil to help soften your skin while you relax too. I can’t wait to indulge in this french kiss… Ooh…

Lift up your spirits and get yourself smelling oh-so-sweet with Rose Jam Bubbleroon (S$18). Turkish rose oil and rose absolute contained in this little rose will provide you with double dose of rosiness and happiness! With lemon, rose and geranium oil, Rose Jam is sure to perk you up, while SLush Fund supported Indonesian coconut oil and shea butter from Ghana leave you feeling gorgeously silky smooth. Oh, and some glitters to give you sparkly shiny skin?

It’s Valentine’s Day, a day of hearts, happiness and rainbows! By rainbows, I mean unicorns! Unicorns aren’t real but the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar (S$15) is! Relaxing lavender oil meets mood-brightening neroli in this lustre-filled bar. Neroli oil increases serotonin levels in the brain which makes us feel contented and cheery so you can feel all good about yourself on your date or you can simply ponder the existence of magical creatures while building a fairytale castle out of fragrant bubbles in your bathtub.

All you need is love… or is it? Perhaps you need some bubbles. Oodles and oodles of bubbles to keep yourself (and your date maybe?) happy and cheery all day long! Be sure to check these bath bombs and bubble bars out when you pass by a LUSH store!
