I’ve been feeling rather light-hearted these days though with lots of things constantly happening to me. Whether good or bad, I’ve been learning how to take them in my stride. Funnily, sometimes, when you just let go and allow things to run on their own, you’ll find yourself in unexpected situations, better than you’d imagined it to be. On days like these, I’ve been reaching out for lighter scents like the DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush.

If you’re familiar with DKNY’s Be Delicious, you’d be surprised to know that this pink apple doesn’t contain any hint of apple notes. Instead, it’s a sweet and powdery yet refreshing blend of citrus fruits, combined with the freshness of the Queen of Flowers – the Peony.

DKNY Be Tempted Eau So Blush opens up with invigorating top notes that is a warm, inviting combination of pink grapefruit, magnolia, red currant and red orange. The tantalising, juicy notes kinda reminds me of the energy a young, confident lady has. The mauve-pink flacon is a cuter version of its former Be Delicious franchise and I like that it is in fact, an adorable table accessory.

Before you can fully comprehend and appreciate the opening mix, you’ll be greeted with a heart of playful peony, sensual jasmine and cedar wood. Smells feminine but nothing strong, nothing too mature for the confident lady starting out on her career. Yes, that’s what this fragrance reminds me of. Some girl, young and confident, beautiful not just because she looks pretty, but because of her overflowing energy for life. That zest is what this perfume exudes.

The soft floral sillage then melts into a base of creamy woods, apricot and solar musk.

Fresh and light, Be Tempted Eau So Blush is not overpowering, but on the contrary, is detectable only when held close to the nose. It lasts for about 3-4 hours before disappearing with a faint trace of creamy musk.
