When my skin’s happy, I am happy! One of the main reasons why I’m really bubbly and happy-go-lucky lately is because of my skin. I’ve been feeling really confident in my skin for the past 2-3 months or so because it has drastically improved.
I kid you not; I have been struggling with acne issues since I was a teenager, about 14 years old or so, to the extent that I needed to be on Oratane. The large, inflamed, cystic acne may have stop visiting me but I still get occasional break outs every month.
Allies of Skin Glow Gifter Set
When I thought all hope was lost, I found a combination of different skincare products that work for me. If you’ve been following paradeoflove.com, you’ll know that one of the culprits for my clear complexion is the Allies of Skin Glow Gifter Set which contains the Molecular Saviour Mist and the Bright Future Overnight Facial.
Allies of Skin, if you didn’t know, is a home-grown skincare brand with a fundamental belief in the skin’s ability to heal and correct itself. Their guiding principle is to facilitate and enhance the healing process of the skin with powerful actives in clean, optimally concentrated formulas that repair, regenerate and also re-train your skin to perform at its best. In my opinion, they have successfully done that with their uncomplicated product line.
Bright Future Overnight Facial
Moving on to the Bright Future Overnight Facial (BFOF), the world’s first hydrating Hypoallergenic chemical peel. It is formulated to deliver an exfoliating effect with intense hydration. To be honest, when I first received this press sample, I wasn’t as inclined to try because of it being a chemical peel. I’ve always thought that chemical peels formulated in off-the-shelf products aren’t as effective, hence it took me quite some time before I decided to give it a go, and I’m so glad I did!
The Ingredients
Traditional peels dehydrate the skin in the process of exfoliation. However, this next generation peel apparently floods the skin with moisture and nutrients. It helps the skin attain an optimal level of exfoliation over two to three nights of continued application. With a unique combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Retinol and Probiotics, the BFOF works to encourage cellular renewal and hydration. It’s like having a professional facial session overnight!
The Results
I’m not going to bore you with the detailed ingredient low-down; you can read the description of how the technology works on your skin here. I just want to say that this has been very helpful in ensuring that my skin gets ample hydration even in air-conditioned environment. I’ve been using this only on the weekends from Fridays to Sundays and even then, my skin has taken on a drastic transformation. I see a huge improvement in terms of my acne scarring on the jawline and chin areas – they have visibly lightened over consistent use.
Also, I find that with this, you’ll wake up to visibly clearer, suppler and healthier-looking skin, as though you did a facial the night before. I don’t exactly know how to describe what this does to your skin, but what I know that I have been very dependent on it since day one when I started.
The BFOF has a yellow-brown gel-like texture and smells amazing. I can’t quite pinpoint how it smells like but definitely something refreshing to end your night. Surprisingly, the right way to use this product is to spritz a layer of face mist before you apply this. After which, spritz another round of mist over it. Moisture activates the Hyaluronic Acid gel used in the product. It is also designed to cling to the skin to form a protective barrier against pollution and environmental aggressors, thus requiring a mist! I use the Molecular Saviour Mist and they work in tandem to give me happy pretty skin. 🙂
Molecular Saviour Mist
The Molecular Saviour Mist is the perfect companion to amplify the hydration effect produced by the pure Hyaluronic Acid in the BFOF. It is formulated with a heavier form of water which makes the enhanced rosewater base more resistant to evaporation. Thus, this is a godsend for thirsty skin! Specifically, the mist consists of an aloe and rose water base with a rejuvenating blend of probiotics and antioxidants such as Lactobacillus Ferment and Acai Berry. These skin superfoods help leave your complexion glowing and dewy.
The Ingredients
Also an ideal travel companion because it’s designed with a special anti-evaporation molecule that clings to skin cells. Every spritz delivers a potent dose of soothing and restorative nutrients that do not evaporate easily. The Silk Amino Acids and Cucumber Seed oil also work hand-in-hand throughout the day to refine pores and counteract effects of jetlag and fatigue. Acne lesions are clinically proven to have improved by 42.7% in 28 days. Well, I can totally vouch for this with the massive change in my skin condition.
The Results
I thoroughly enjoyed this mist and I think it’s the best one in the market so far. I’ve tried so many face mists in my 3-4 years of skincare experimenting and nothing comes close to this. It’s definitely one that I will keep restocking to maintain my skin condition.
Together, the Glow Gifter duo is skin-vincible!~

Great article. I haven’t tried their Bright Future Overnight Facial yet but had been thinking about it. I have tried Allies of Skin’s Fresh State Purifying Cleanser and Mask from b-glowing and love it though. This one may just be the next one I try.
Hi Sandy! Awesome! I have just tried the Fresh State Purifying Cleanser + Masque as well and I am LOVING it so so much! Try out the BFOF, you’ll love it!
