Fall’s trend brings us to rather gold and bronzy eye makeup without being too over the top and Etude House is launching some liquid eyeshadows in those shades, in their latest collection! We see Etude House bringing in a brand new collection, Bling Me Prism, in collaboration with Korean accessories brand High Cheeks! Well it’s all about that bling, ’bout that bling, oh baby~
Bling Me Prism screams fun, sexy and cool, all at once because it’s about vibrant pop of colours on the lips and easy, day-to-day wearable for eyes! Oh and there are some hologram nail colours too (not shown here)! The collection also evokes a sense of playful, colourful fun with its pop-art graphics and unique packaging that’s made for keeps! Look at those sexy lips and eyes!~
Let’s get started with the eyes, shall we? Bling Me Prism Eyes (S$11.90) is a water-base eyeshadow colour that requires blending with the fingers to create an even eye colour on the lids. It’s said to provide a cooling and moisturising effect on the skin around your eyes but I don’t actually feel so..
The texture is non-sticky and long-lasting though and it does not smudge!! The beauty of it is that it can last the entire day on my oily lids! *Claps* The hologram pigment and crystal pearl add a touch of sparkle to the eyes for an all-day bling effect too! The product comes in a tube with a wand for application by the way.
Available in five shades:
- #1 Honey Glam – warm honey bronze
- #2 Sunny Carat – warm bright yellow-orange
- #3 Darling Heart – bubblegum warm pink
- #4 Pearlfect – pearlescent with light pink reflects
- #5 Bling Bold – chocolate metallic brown
A reminder that you need to hurry blend the pigment when you apply it directly on the eyes as it dries pretty quickly! Also, I realised it takes a little effort to ensure both eyelids get the same intensity so blend carefully!
Here’s an eye look I did using all the shades except Darling Heart. I loooove how metallic the shades are! They really pop on the lids!
For the lips, Etude House has housed its Colour in Liquid Lips in the limited edition packaging! Yep, we can bling those lips with the Bling Me Prism Colour in Liquid Lips (S$17.90) too!
I’ve previously done a review on these Colour in Liquid Lips (review here). They are basically liquid lipsticks (they are so in trend right now that every single brand has their own version), that combines the pigmentation of a lipstick but the texture of lip gloss.
It doesn’t exactly melt into a soft liquid upon application but it does lasts pretty long. I find it slightly drying to my lips but I’ve seen friends who has juicy plump lips rock this formula. Better to test them out before you snag all the shades!
Available in five shades:
- Pink Beam – sweet warm pink
- Star in Pinklight – blue-toned bubblegum pink
- Hologram in Jewel – light pink with gold sheen (gold sheen is dominant)
- Rubyring in Red – classic chilli red
- Spangle in Coral – orange-peachy coral
(Note: It’s Star in Pinklight!! And P.S. This is Xinyi’s arm with her beautiful tattoo titled “Faith, Hope, Love”. I absolutely love it!!)
As usual, this is how the shades look on my lips. You can tell they are a tad drying on me and I don’t exactly fancy the wand because I can’t seem to get the corners of my lips to be neat when applying!
(Note: It’s Star in Pinklight)
How can we forget about blinging the nails up, right? The Bling Me Prism Nails (S$5.90) features five hologram shades for you to play with:
- Prism Break – metallic silver
- Mystery Muse – metallic lilac
- Emerald Replica – metallic emerald seagreen
- Ultra Mercury – metallic royal blue
- Prism Kiss Glitter – silver glitter with red kissy lips
Don’t the colours look pretty! I especially love Emerald Replica and Prism Kiss Glitter for the cuteness!
Ending off with a selfie as usual~
