We’re already about a month in to the #CircuitBreaker measures, how are you coping with staying at home? I’ve been indulging in Netflix, learning new recipes and exploring local restaurants who do deliveries! One of the most sumptuous meal I had with my family was a seafood fare by 8 Crabs!

Did you know that our overall health is mostly determined by our skin and gut health? The first step to maintaining healthy, radiant skin is balancing our digestive health. It is common to overlook our gut health because of the choices of foods we have. However, our gut is one of the most important aspects that we should always pay attention to.

I’ve always had a weak stomach since I was a kid, hence digestion issues aren’t new to me. For the past 2 months, I’ve started incorporating the Tian Yuan Xiang Si Shen (四神) Chicken Essence into my diet to improve my overall nutrition intake.

When it comes to Chicken Essence, I’m sure we’re all familiar with the bottled versions out in the market. I too, used to drink those when I was back in school, especially during exams. Who else can relate? However, after trying the Tian Yuan Xiang Chicken Essence (田原香滴鸡精), I’m never going back to regular chicken essences!

Europe’19 (Part 2): Spent my birthday weekend in Vienna, Austria

Europe Vienna Trip

Vienna, the City of Dreams.

This city, one of the most vibrant cultural hotspots in Europe, has been home to artists, composers and musicians globally. It also played an important role and influence on classical music. Part of my Europe trip itinerary last month was to visit Vienna in Austria, after about a week in Poland. We drove for about 4.5 hours from Kraków, Poland, and it was quite an easy drive on the autobahn (or highway). We spent 4D3N in Vienna before moving off to Prague, Czech Republic.

Europe’19 (Part 1): Packed my luggage to Poland

Visit Poland, Warsaw and Krakow

Europe has been a continent that captured my hearts since I was little. There’s just something about the European architecture that makes me fall in love. I’m no architecture buff but the charm of the classical/gothic/renaissance buildings unique to European cities ignites my romantic self.

Just last month, I went on a business trip to Berlin for ITB Berlin 2019, and fortunately, had the chance to extend my stay in Europe. My boyfriend and I decided to explore the central/eastern part of Europe, specifically in Poland, Austria and Czech Republic. Because we had such an interesting time, I had to blog about the places we went and some recommendations! First stop – off to Poland!

WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD.

Afternoon Tea @ MO BAR, Mandarin Oriental

I love afternoon teas. Whether you’re entertaining friends who are travelling or simply craving for a quality afternoon with your loved ones, afternoon tea is always a good idea. Thinking about indulging in fine aromatic teas paired with delicious treats just makes me feel all relaxed. Do you feel the same?

Over the years, I’ve had quite a couple of high tea (or afternoon tea) sessions with my family, my girlfriends and for the first time, I had an undisturbed high tea with my boyfriend. We were more than delighted by the seasonal, bi-monthly menu we tasted at MO BAR – a chic bar in Mandarin Oriental offering a celebration of flavours and aromas of the Asia-pacific region.

For the month of March and April, be transported to Sumatra Coast as MO BAR presents an afternoon tea menu surrounding delicacies from the region, and rare teas sourced from Asia’s famous tea-growing regions. This is one of the most delicious afternoon teas I’ve ever had – every canape was so well done and coupled with the selection of teas – spectacular! Not to mention you get a amazing view of Marina Bay Sands and the Esplanade!
