The One Brand Makeup Pictorial with Clio: Review & Swatches

Do you have that one brand of makeup that you tend to pick out every day just because you feel safe, or whenever you are rushing? For me, whenever I don’t feel like picking out particular makeup products, I tend to find myself reaching for Clio’s products, specifically the Gelpresso Waterproof Shadows and the Kill Black/Brown Eyeliners. They are fuss-free and very easy to use, hence are my ideal products for quick touch-ups as well!

Since Clio has sent me several other products including some of their lip products – Virgin Kiss Lip Primer, Lipnicure Liquid Lipsticks and Top Coat, I’ve decided to do a One Brand Makeup Pictorial using these, complete with my views and thoughts on them.

Once again, I am ShopandBox-ing! 😀 This is already my fourth order because honestly, I am just a very lazy shopper. I would pay for someone to shop my list for me and get my items delivered all the way to my doorstep! 😉 As seen on my Instagram, you’d probably guess (I think you don’t have to guess…) that I’m a HUGE makeup/beauty junkie and I collect all-things-beauty from all over the world!

Of course, to be a makeup junkie, one has to buy and buy and buy, right? 😉 Just kidding. Anyway, thanks to ShopandBox, I managed to haul awesome makeup products from famous brands in Korea that are unavailable in Singapore, how cool is that?!

Remember the days when BB Cushions were first introduced and took the entire base/foundation category by storm? With all the Asian brands coming up with their own editions of BB Cushions/Cushion Foundations, it is no surprise that we have no lack of variety in this category.

This March, THEFACESHOP launches its reformulated Cushion Screen Cell foundation that contains the World’s very first Screen Cell, giving delicate and even makeup coverage. Essentially, the Screen Cell is a “filter-like” net that allows the product to be distributed evenly.

February 2015 Beauty Empties: Review

It’s the first weekend of March and I am so swarmed with lots of reviews pending! I have been blessed to be receiving much love from many brands, giving me surprises almost every week now since the start of the year, thank you! You may think that the life of a beauty blogger is great, with lots of brands sending products to the doorstep, but seriously, think again. All the effort to photograph products, testing and trying out products while running the risk of having breakouts is definitely not an easy feat. Well, I guess all my efforts are worth it because I simply enjoy the process of it.

Anyway, I’m proud to be using up products again but this month’s list is going to be short and sweet.

February 2015 Beauty Favourites: Review

I haven’t quite adjusted to 2015 but we’re stepping into the last month for the 1st quarter of the year already!

For the month of February, I was pretty much embarking on a mission to continue rotating my beauty products so that all of my collection gets some love from me. I’m very glad to be discovering new products that I now can’t live without! Here are my February 2015 Beauty Favourites!

We’ll get started from the usual, the skincare before running through the makeup? There’s only 1 skincare product that I really love, after incorporating it into my skincare routine.
