Wow the crowd with the Fenty Beauty glow – Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter & Matchstix Shimmer Skinstick: Review, Swatches & Makeup Look

Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife & Confetti

Just 2 weeks ago, the whole world stopped for Rihanna, as @badgalriri launched her very own makeup line dedicated for all skin colors, all undertones, from all countries. With foundation in 40 shades, skinsticks in 30 shades, Fenty Beauty was created and made for every girl in the world.

First things first, disclaimer! Note that this is not a post with sponsored products as I wasn’t provided with any and these two highlighters were solely purchased with my own pocket money. Let’s be honest here. I know that I have been reviewing a lot of products provided by PR companies and the brands themselves but I just want to put it out there that I share my most honest thoughts even if the campaign was paid or products sponsored!

My Fenty Purchases

*Back to Fenty Beauty* The two products that caught my attention immediately following the launch were the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife (seriously the world went crazy for this) and the Matchstix Shimmer Skinstick in Confetti. Enhance your fresh-faced beauty with the LANEIGE Ideal Blush Duo collection: Review, Swatches & Makeup Looks

LANEIGE Ideal Blush Duo collection

When it comes to beauty, the Koreans always strike first. If you think applying blush is easy, think again. The Koreans have now reinvented the steps to achieving the perfect flush with the Blush Layering trend – basically working on a combination of sheer colours to achieve natural blush, contouring and highlighting effects.

And yes, if you’ve been following social media, you’ll definitely not be a stranger to the LANEIGE Ideal Blush Duo collection that’s all over your feed. The collection, with natural and luminous hues, is designed perfectly for the Blush Layering trend, with two colours in each of the six unique palettes.

My First Impression

I quite like the shade selection in each palette, because each palette is carefully designed for you to achieve a certain look, whether it be a pure and innocent one, a sun-kissed glowy one or even a well-contoured one. The combination of two ideal colours into one palette, coupled with the blendability of the formula, lets you conveniently create a complexion you desire in the shortest amount of time.

I’ve personally really enjoyed these palettes and am quite stoked to be able to land my hands on them. I heard that the Strong Red palette has ran out of stock just days after the launch, and phew, am I glad it’s sitting on my vanity now staring at me while I pen down my thoughts.
