One of the latest makeup trend brings you perfectly sculpted and highlighted cheekbones. It’s all about detailed contouring besides just adding a flush of colour to your cheeks! And of course, not to forget, strobing! If contouring is too difficult, let’s just focus on strobing, basically, the act of bringing light to the high points on the face. The best palette for your experiment is none other than the BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette!
And what do you know? It’s now BACK IN STOCK on Sephora Online only!
A collaboration with Jaclyn Hill, an American Professional Makeup Artist and a YouTube personality, this limited edition face palette features five iconic shades for that customised glow you want. The palette comes in a luxurious golden metal case with a white thick sticker plastered on the cover. I really love the simplicity of the design for it embodies the meaning of the palette – champagne glow.
Have you ever wanted to live in a dollhouse with grand stairs leading down to a huge hall? Well, as a girly girl when I was young, it has always been a dream, even to just own a miniature dollhouse! Now that I’ve all grown up, I can have a dollhouse full of makeup with Too Faced x Sephora Le Grand Palais
Isn’t it the prettiest thing for Christmas?!
Too Faced Le Grand Palais is a limited edition holiday palette primarily consisting of eyeshadows and blushers, with a few deluxe-sized products thrown in to complement the powdered products.
With so many Christmas Sets coming up, let’s start with my favourite brand – Too Faced
! Too Faced always never fails to surprise with their extensive collection packaged beautifully!

The year 2014 has indeed been an eventful year for me. Through this year, I experienced several things that made me grow as a person, including falling back in love again (and cherishing what I failed to), graduating from school, travelling solo (kind of because I was exploring Sydney pretty much on my own for the most part) and learning how to travel with my family now that everyone has grown up. Not forgetting the fact that creating @paradeoflove
made me explore my interests more and made me new friends too. I’m thankful for the opportunities that came by as well, allowing ParadeOfLove
to grow further. To sum up, 2014 was nothing short of amazing 🙂
Anyway, here’s a round up of my 2014 Beauty Favourites – a highlight into the products that I have been using and loving for the year. The products may or may not be launched in 2014 because this is a round up of my personal beauty picks for the year.
We’ll start from the face products, going in order of a typical makeup routine, shall we? 😉
It’s my exams period now and I was contemplating if I should do up the review of this Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette. I decided to take a break from all that studying and review this palette because there were too many requests for the quality and pigmentation! Also, I did a quick Google search and realised not many did reviews for this palette (surprisingly), hence here are my thoughts to better facilitate your purchase decisions!
I would say that I am definitely not an avid fan of Hello Kitty but I do have the entire Hello Kitty Wedding x MacDonald’s collection, the one that got the entire country (or countries) crazily flocking to the fast food chain to queue, courtesy of my mummy! With all the beautiful holiday launches, I decided to go ahead and get this palette (amongst the many I got) just because I couldn’t resist the packaging and the range of colours inside.
At the back of the box, there are the names of the eyeshadow colours and the shades are depicted as little Hello Kitty bows, how adorable! Majority of the shade names are very reflective of the anniversary theme, This is one packaging that you will not be able to resist, especially if you are a Hello Kitty fan!
(P.S. They could probably use a better word for what Hello Kitty is saying instead of “Hello!”.)
