Christmas 2015 Festive Makeup Looks: Tutorial

Christmas 2015 Festive Makeup Looks
MERRY CHRISTMAS MY LOVELIES! 🙂
Oh what a time to celebrate and rejoice! It’s Christmas already, what do you know? Are you up and about, prepping to head to your Christmas parties tonight? Well, I have created some looks for you to wear if you are still clueless as to what makeup look you want for your gatherings!
Picking out three eyeshadow palettes that were released during this festive season, I’m going to be doing three different Christmas 2015 Festive Makeup Looks – a fun one for the adventurous, a feminine one to “play safe” and a classic one that will never go wrong.
Let’s start with being bold, shall we?

The Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette that’s being released this holiday season is nothing short of fantastic. I mean, just look at the bright and fun colours in the palette! You can do so many looks with it! I’m going to be doing a green/orange festive eye look coupled with NARS Audacious Lipstick in Janet on the lips!
With 20 exciting shades to choose from, I’ve decided to go with:
  • Grasshopper – a metallic bright green
  • C-Note – a grey-toned silver green
  • Flame – a glittery warm orange
  • Bitter – a matte warm brown
This is the final fun Christmas look! You can even amp it up by patting on some glitters and putting on false lashes! Don’t you just love the contrasting shades? They work really well, don’t they!
The second look is for those who love themselves a classic red lip!
The Lorac Pro Love, Lust & Lace Matte Eyeshadow Palette is perfect for this holiday season because it’s very travel-friendly with its sleek packaging and the matte shades can’t go wrong. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and blendable. This classic look will have your eyes in soft, neutral browns to complement the bright, bold, red lip with Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited in RD175.
I’m using all shades in this palette because they are wearable and complement each other nicely. You can even do a smoky look with the deep brown and black shades.
The five shades in the palette include:
  • LLL #1 – matte cream white
  • LLL #2 – matte beige
  • LLL #3 – matte deep chocolate brown
  • LLL #4 – matte grey
  • LLL #5 – matte dark black
Here’s a pictorial to guide you through the step-by-step. It’s really pretty easy to achieve an effortless everyday classic makeup look.
This is how the eyeshadow looks like on the eyes 😉 You’re ready to rock and roll with the chilli red lips!
Finally, if you love to tread on the safe side, then plums and violets will be your best friend, accompanied by a coral nude lipstick.
I’ve picked the Chanel Signe Particulier palette because it’s a special gift from a colleague who’s also a good friend of mine and also because it’s part of the Chanel 2015 Holiday Collection. I find that this palette has got a good mix of shades for the brow bone, the crease and also to define the outer corners of the eyes. Paired with a sweet coral nude, the Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel in Eat Cake, you’re going to mesmerise with your flirty sweet looks.
The four shades in the palette include:
  • Signe Particulier #1 – a pale frosted light pink
  • Signe Particulier #2 – a muted taupe
  • Signe Particulier #3 – deep plum violet
  • Signe Particulier #4 – a warm yellow gold
So here’s the pictorial for the look. 5 simple steps will get you through the entire eye look!
Not sure if you can spot the deep violet on the outer corners, but I love how that shade intensifies the entire eye look. With a soft nude lip, you’re ready to don on that floral dress for your Christmas party!

I hope you like all three looks! Merry Christmas once again and happy holidays!!

Create yourself and be gorgeous! ♡
XOXO, Roanna.
