A sensory journey with Elizabeth Arden White Tea Fragrances: Review

Elizabeth Arden White Tea Fragrances

Fragrances are like accessories. We wear different scents with different outfits to different occasions, don’t we? At least for me, I appreciate scents much more than I used to, and I find joy in pairing fragrances with my outfits.

Elizabeth Arden White Tea Fragrances

It’s a calm sunny afternoon as I write, which is perfect for the Elizabeth Arden White Tea fragrances. The White Tea fragrance has been a favourite among women of all ages, including myself. Just when we were getting comfortable with White Tea, it is now joined by 2 NEW variants – White Tea Wild Rose and White Tea Vanilla Orchid.

The White Tea Fragrance Packaging

Like the original (OG) White Tea fragrance, Wild Rose and Vanilla Orchid come in a tall cubical glass bottle. The bottle is simple, clean and elegant with its white design fading into transparency. You get to have a peek at the almost transparent colour of the perfume liquid.

White Tea Wild Rose Eau De Toilette Spray

Wild Rose is a sweet and delicate floral fragrance weaved with a bout of fresh ocean breeze. Imagine a barefooted girl trailing across the sand by the beach while holding a bouquet of fresh pink roses. That’s the exact delightful, carefree mood this fragrance brings.

Top Notes

The fragrance opens with calming white tea, crowned with fresh pear tree blossoms and red currants. It is made luscious, slightly herby, with accompanying Palmarosa.

Heart Notes

When the name says “Wild Rose”, it definitely has to have rose notes. Bulgarian and Turkish roses dominate the heart of this scent, enwrapped in luxurious blush peony.  The notes of the herbaceous clary sage add a touch of elegance to the floral mix.

Base Notes

At the base, we have radiant musks with mate absolute, tonka bean and sheer amber. The combination brings a warm embrace to the top and heart notes.

White Tea Vanilla Orchid Eau De Toilette Spray

White Tea Vanilla Orchid, on the other hand, is an opulent, alluring floral fragrance complemented with rich creamy vanilla. This scent somehow reminds me of Autumn. Imagine huddling in front of a fireplace with a warm vanilla tea in a room of scented candles. That warm tranquillity is the mood it evokes in you.

Top Notes

The scent opens with citrus notes of lemon primofiore with bergamot essence, with sweetness of quince and peppery elemi oil.

Middle Notes

Most of what I could smell when the perfume is sprayed consists of elements in the heart notes. Of course, we have the iconic soothing White tea, wrapped with a floral bouquet – sultry gardenia, dewy jasmine and the vanilla orchid.

Base Notes

At the base, tender ambrette and musk accentuate the creaminess of vanilla essence. Wrapped with sweet orris and warm earthy amber wood, White Tea Vanilla Orchid brings you a smooth and serene escape in comfort.

If you like something lighter and more neutral, then the OG White Tea is for you.

White Tea Eau de Toilette Spray

Like how teas are simple pleasures in life, the OG White Tea is much like a staple on your vanity. Exquisitely uncomplicated, the fragrance invites you to take a step back, wind down and revel in the moment. Imagine strolling along the park on a Sunday afternoon… Fluffy clouds and blue skies… That’s where White Tea will transport you.

Top Notes

An infusion of sparkling Italian Mandarin, calming Clary Sage Essence, sensual Sea Breeze Accord and fresh Japanese White Fern.

Middle Notes

The delightful heart finds zen-like White Tea Extract and herbal Mate Absolute Paraguay. The combination meets graceful White Iris Accord, sweet and spicy Turkish Rose Absolute and the warm, nutty Sapucaya Atmospheric.

Base Notes

A blend of woody, musky, velvety and luxurious Madras Wood, Ambrette Seed Absolute, Tonka Bean Venezuela Absolute, Ambermax® and a Trio of Tranquility Musk lingers closely to the skin for a highly personal, sensual softness.

My Personal Choice

I love scents with rose and I’m totally biased on that! Hence White Tea Wild Rose is undoubtedly the winner for me. The light floral rosy fragrance brings me to a rose garden and evokes a romantic ambience which I really love.

What about you? What kind of scents do you prefer?
