A little luck on the lips with Etude House Give Me Luck Color in Liquid Lips Juicy: Review, Swatches & Makeup Looks

Ring in the Lunar New Year with these cutesy rooster prints, shall we? The Etude House Give Me Luck collection is seriously adorable! I honestly haven’t seen a makeup brand come up with packaging that suits the Lunar New Year. Even though our Chinese New Year celebration may be over, it’s still the start of the Year of the Rooster and it’s perfect for adding new makeup to your collection to go along with those dolled-up eyes!

Achieve the perfect juicy tinted pout by swiping on one of the Etude House Give Me Luck Colur In Liquid Lips Juicy lipsticks. Featuring 5 new vivid hues to its current wide range of colours, the water-based formula will give your lips a dose of hydration.

With a unique texture combination of a lipstick and a lip tint, you can control the intensity easily by repeatedly gliding over your lips with the applicator.

The doe-foot spongy applicator tip is, in my opinion, not as ideal as I would like it to be, however. The applicator seems a it too fat to help line the lips with pigment and I find that I do get the product a lot off my lip lines while applying. I guess with a tint product, the purpose wouldn’t be to accurately line it on the lips. I would fancy it more if I could have a thinner and sharper applicator tip though.

Other than the applicator, I’ve no complaints for this one. Let the arm and lip swatches do the talking? You can tell how hydrating the product is and all swatches were done with just one swipe! The pigmentation as a tint is superb 🙂

It does make my lips look juicy, right? Oh and yes, it has raspberry and strawberry extract to further moisturise the lips while giving you a sweet fruity scent and taste. Mmm, it really tastes sweet. Consider wearing this on your date if your boyfriend loves tasting sweet things. 😉

My favourite shades are OR212 and RD308. What are yours? I think that every shade is wearable on all skin types. As a tint, they produce enough pigment to coat the lips while avoiding being too stark. What I really appreciate is that you can simply sheer it out with your fingers, giving your lips that bitten-red look.

The Etude House Give Me Luck Color In Liquid Lips Juicy lipstick retails for SGD17.90 each.

Create yourself and be gorgeous! XOXO, Roanna.
