With the Christmas season approaching, it’s time for some gift-shopping! Etude House’s Pink Wish Tree Collection offers a very comprehensive variety of products packed in Christmassy gift boxes! The collection includes some of their bestsellers – Moistfull Collagen skincare products, Petit Bijou Body Care (in a set), Precious Mineral Any Cushion, Hand Bouquet Hand Creams (in sets) and Kissful Lipbalms (in a set).
Moreover, the best part of this collection is that this is an initiative to help support the School Me Campaign by Save the Children which provides educational opportunities for African girls! Etude House will donate ₩100 (equivalent to about S$0.12) for every Pink Wish Tree item purchased. An additional ₩100 will be contributed as well if YOU endorse the Pink Wish Card which comes with every product purchased! Even though 12 cents per item may not be much, I believe that a global brand like Etude House will be able to garner a huge volume of sales which will translate into a substantial amount for the campaign!
Usually brands love coming up with Limited Edition (LE) items such that if you don’t stock up, you’ll never be able to find them again. But, not to worry, this collection is a repackage of the existing products from Etude House so you don’t have to worry about buying something that is LE!
Let’s look into the products shall we?
The Precious Mineral Any Cushion is one of my favourites in this collection, simply because I have fallen in love with BB Cushions recently as you know. The BB Cushion is a 6-in-1 Cushion Foundation with sebum control powder and a high SPF50 PA+++, perfect for wearing for your Christmas parties! The packaging is very festive as well with the emerald green and bright pink casing. Oh and don’t worry about finishing the product inside because you can easily take the cushion out to replace it with a refill!
The BB Cushion comes in 2 shades – W13 Natural Beige and N02 Light Beige. I would say the shades are pretty limited but if you suit any of the 2 shades, you’ll love this product for its hydrating properties! The coverage leans towards light to medium so if you are looking for something that is heavier and of full-coverage then I wouldn’t recommend this.
If you or your friends are looking to travel for this festive season, the Hand Bouquet Hand Cream will make the most impeccable gift because we all need some hand creams to nourish our hands and to keep them looking young and beautiful! The hand cream comes in the Jumbo versions (I think it’s going to last you for years!) and the mini set, depending on your preference. Formulated with shea butter, Brazilian but oil and an anti-wrinkle formula, the floral-scented cream gets absorbed into the skin really quickly, delivering a soft and delicate touch to the skin!
The hand cream also comes in a mini set of 2, inclusive of the Rich Collagen (pink) and the Rich Butter (gold). I love the baby-powder scent of these hand creams and I think the set is the perfect gift for friends who love to travel!
Great for chapped and dry lips, the Kissful Lip Care Set is a must-have for any woman at all! If you know me, you know I love lipbalms, especially those from Etude House’s Don’t Worry Happy Change Lip Balm collection and I absolutely love them ever since I bought them! With 3 sweet fruity scents like Peach, Cherry and Strawberry, I find that these are very hydrating and they leave me with sweet-smelling luscious lips! The only downside for this is that you have to reapply every now and then as they tend to wear off.
Besides pampering the face, we have a set of body care, the Petit Bijou Cotton Snow Body Set to cleanse, nourish and hydrate your skin! Personally for me, I think that this is a very practical as a Christmas present, be it for your female or male friends because everyone needs a good body wash and some moisturising lotion to soothe their tired skin, right? 😉 Infused with softening milk proteins, this duo is sure to help alleviate your dry skin, leaving it smelling absolutely delicious!
Well, if you want to make your Christmas more meaningful, I’d recommend checking out these products as gifts because you are not only getting a present for your loved ones, you’re also giving to the less privileged!
Other than the Pink Wish Tree Collection, Etude House has also released their lovely My Castle Hand Creams in 4 variations – Pink Wish, Ice Frozen, Magic Sweet and Forever Rose. These hand creams are packaged in a little castle, in my opinion, a little bulky and travel-unfriendly if you are thinking of throwing into your purse. However, these beautiful little castles can be lovely table decorations if you are looking into giving them to your colleagues at work for Christmas! Retailing for only S$9 each, these can be the perfect gift exchange presents if you have to work around a budget of S$10!
Formulated with shea butter and 6 other organic herbal ingredients (centella, aloe vera, lavender, lemon verbana, marshmallow root and chamomile), these hand creams are surprisingly lightweight and they get absorbed pretty quickly! I particularly like these because they don’t leave a sticky feeling to my hands after application – something I usually encounter with hand creams due to my sweaty palms.
