Hydrate and cover with Belif Moisture Bomb Cushion & True Cream-Aqua Bomb: Review

Belif Moisture Bomb Cushion
Dry skin ladies, the powerful moisture duo is here to save your day! It’s never too late to jump on the BB Cushion bandwagon and I am so stoked that Belif actually came up with a cushion product too! I’ve always loved the Almighty Sun Powder and when this was sent to me, I couldn’t wait to try it!
The moisture duo consists of none other than the NEW Moisture Bomb Cushion and the iconic True Cream-Aqua Bomb moisturiser! Can you spot them in the photo?
The first product I am going to talk about is the latest release from Belif, the Moisture Bomb Cushion which contains the most important property of the moisturising bomb cream, essentially deep hydration. It contains SPF50+/PA+++, an adequate amount of sun protection you can get in your base product.

The Moisture Bomb Cushion is the first series of “belif in the world” created by illustrator, Olivia, in New York. The packaging is inspired by the Belif story of birth that inherited the philosophy and compounding techniques of napiers, the first herb shop in Britain, hence the Big Ben, London Eye and double-decker buses line drawings.

(Sake just loves being in my photos!)
Featuring 26-hours long-lasting moisture and coverage, this BB cushion serves to protect your skin from UV rays and whiten your skin while providing anti-wrinkle functions as well. An all-in-one product this is!
It comes with a black micro foam sponge for quick and even application. I just love how the sponge isn’t light-coloured because you wouldn’t know how dirty your sponge is, teehee!
In terms of its texture, I find it to be stickier and more moisturising which surprisingly sets into the skin nicely without a hint of tackiness. It feels comfortable on the skin and isn’t too heavy though it gives quite a decent coverage. I’m able to cover my light acne scars with this BB cushion. The shade natural beige suits my skin tone too but I find that the shade range is very limited as there are only 3, namely light beige, pink and natural beige.
Here’s the comparison with half of my face applying the Moisture Bomb Cushion while the other half being bare. My skin is currently living a better life now hence there isn’t much redness to cover. Even so, I think it does a good job in minimising the flaws on your skin. You can visibly notice the lightening of the dark eye circles as well. No concealer was used here.
After about 5-6 hours of wear, I realised my skin oiled up and I had to blot. The only downside to this BB cushion is that it makes my skin produce a little more oil than usual after half a day, but I guess a wave on the powder brush dipped in the Almighty Sun Powder would do the trick!
To prep your skin for Moisture Bomb Cushion, the star product – True Cream-Aqua Bomb – is good to incorporate into your skincare regime. It is a highly moisturising product which helps replenish moisture by 18% while balancing oil and water.
I love how the texture is super light and watery! Gel moisturisers are always a favourite for me and this is no exception! It gets absorbed into the skin fairly quickly too and smells soothing. Though it isn’t a fantastic product that wow-ed me, I like how it forms a protective layer to lock in the moisture in my skin surface.
As you can see from the hand swatch, the aqua bomb moisturiser spreads very smoothly. You can also get a sense of how lightweight and watery the texture is. Don’t you just feel like touching it already? 😉
If you have normal to dry skin, I recommend you to try them out! I feel that the Moisture Bomb Cushion will not suit oily skin types so if you have super oily skin, you may want to test it out before you invest in it.

The Moisture Bomb Cushion retails for S$55 and is available in 3 shades (Pink, Light Beige, Natural Beige) at all Belif stores.

Create yourself and be gorgeous! ♡
XOXO, Roanna.
