The Christmas season is leading up now that we are halfway into the second week of December. What have you got on your grooming ritual? I have plans to groom myself so that I’ll look and smell good for the festive season and the 2015 Holiday Collection from LUSH is just what I need to accomplish my plans!

Starting off with a nice long shower, I am including the star-spangled Salt & Peppermint Bark Shower Scrub (S$20 for 130g). With peppermint oil as the main ingredient of this shower scrub, this is going to give you a cooling effect on the skin, while reducing mental fatigue. What’s more, this little American beauty is packed full of Fair Trade organic cocoa and cupuaçu butter to soften and scrub those dead skin cells away! Not to mention, it smells so refreshing with the peppermint essential oil too.

Fancy a kiss from the rose with the Rose Jam Shower Gel (S$18 for 100g)? LOVELY is the only word to describe the scent. Imagine yourself taking a whiff in a rose garden while snacking on some vanilla ice cream. Yep, that’s what you’re going to put on your body – Organic Turkish rose blends with sweet Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion from Western Uganda.

This shower gel lathers up and leaves your skin in a luscious, lingering scent. It also helps nourish and condition your body with argan oil, while a spill of Sicilian lemon and goji berry juice cleanses and brightens. With this, I get to smell all luscious and seductive.. 😉

Are you ready to kiss under a mistletoe this Christmas? If you haven’t got your lips exfoliated with Santa’s Lip Scrub (S$23 for 30g), then you’re not! Prime your pout before Christmas with this moisturising cola-flavoured lip scrub! Made of caster sugar, dates, cherries and a playful dash of mini hearts, this fruity lip scrub makes me want to eat it after the job is done. Teehee!

With extra virgin coconut oil added, the scrub leaves your lips buffed and ready for Santa Baby’s kisses!

On to my favourite product I have received from the LUSH team – the Fairy Dust Dusting Powder (S$20 for 70g)! All you need is lustre, trust and a little fairy dust for Christmas to make it magical isn’t it?

The dusting powder is a powder for eyes, face and body. Give it a sprinkle, and you’ll notice the subtle sheen that the sweet, sparkling pink dust gives over skin!

One downside is that it doesn’t stay on the skin for long thus as an eyeshadow, might be of an issue once the facial oil surfaces. Don’t think you can really tell the sparkle from the photo but go try it yourself in-stores and you’ll see stars on your hand 😉
