Other than the Quinoa Husk Extract utilised by Kiehl’s chemists, the formula also contains Fruit Acids, Cactus Extract and Phytic Acid to effectively exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, while defending against damage.
Due to my sensitive skin, I was hesitant at first but was pleasantly surprised at the result of diligent use! It’s very gentle yet works to give my skin a new life in the form of softer and smoother skin. In terms of scent, it doesn’t smell like anything much, so it’s good for those who are bothered by strong scents. Also, even though it’s a peel, the texture is pretty much like a serum that absorbs almost immediately.
Overall, I enjoy this concentrate a lot because I get to wake up, head to the mirror, and literally smile and feel confident about my skin! I can’t quite explain in words, but this micro-peel amazes me somehow. Oh and FYI, the first thing I do when I get up every morning is to check my skin condition before I freshen up and prepare for the day. The continual assessment keeps my skin in check, especially when I try out new products!
