The dual-matrix mentioned is essentially having an extra foil layer on the outside of the mask to create a protective cocoon barrier, while the inside cotton matrix releases the concentrated treatment to your skin.

Sounds amazing? Well, I first used this mask when I was on a staycation with my boyfie and being in an air-conditioned room the entire day dried out my skin. With the powerfoil technology, you won’t be encountering a situation where your skin is dripping wet even after removing the mask! The result is a smooth and hydrated skin texture.
However, due to the foil, the mask isn’t as soft as the usual masks and hence it couldn’t properly sit in the grooves and curves on the skin, which is a bummer. In order to get the goodness into every corner of my face, I made sure to move the mask around a little before I let it set. Also, the foil blocks out surrounding air as well, you’ll quickly feel that your skin turns warm and that was one thing I didn’t like about the mask.
Oh, and why do I say you’ll look like a superhero? Teehee, just look at me! I felt like I was Iron Man ready to conquer the world with my shiny foil mask, hahaha!
