Over the weekends, I was invited by Bella Skin Care Singapore for a try-out of the latest AquaDew Pro Resurfacing Treatment, a facial treatment that provides non-invasive exfoliation and at the same time, delivery of exclusively formulated serums to renew, exfoliate and hydrate the skin.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to review it at first because after all, it’s my first encounter with the brand and I wanted to observe and see how the treatment goes. Also, the outlet manager was a little apprehensive when she first saw my skin as she mentioned that she has never encountered skin like mine for this particular new treatment. Well, I was a little taken aback at first but still decided to proceed with it. Just a heads up, my skin has lots of small bumps and is very prone to clogging.

While conversing with the outlet manager, I was seated on the comfy chairs at the waiting area.

I decided to take a few snaps of the area as well because the royal motifs on the mirrored walls are so gorgeous! Don’t they look like snowflakes? Feels very Christmas to me! The hallway leads to the different treatment rooms.

As a standard procedure, I had to fill up a consultation form so that the consultant can get a better understanding of my skin concerns and importantly, my skin type.

On to the treatment room! It looks very comfy and luxurious, doesn’t it? All of the rooms have flower names and my treatment room for the session is named Tulip. It is adequately spaced to store the therapists equipment and there’s even a proper in-built sink as well as a locker to keep your belongings.

The first step of every facial treatment is cleansing. Before that, my therapist gave me a welcome facial point massage to relax my senses.

After which, the AquaDew Pro machine came into play! I was told that it might have a little tingling sensation but I didn’t experience it. The machine consists of a probe, the Aqua Spiral Tip, uniquely designed in a spiral shape with multiple abrasive edges.

It works by exfoliating the skin several times while delivering serums as the tip is being glided over my skin. The Spiral vortex technology helps in the dislodging and clearing impurities in the skin and this makes the extraction step easier, while pneumatic (or compressed) pressure promotes lymphatic drainage to help eliminate stagnant fluid and toxins.

Indeed, the extraction step was made easier after first round of the AquaDew Pro because I actually felt myself falling asleep during this step! I usually have to bear with the pain for god-knows-how-long.

After extraction, there was another round of the AquaDew Pro before my favourite step in any facial treatment – masking time! A cooling seaweed mask was being used all over my skin and a relaxing, soothing shoulder massage sent me off to sleep!~

The results of this treatment? Skin elasticity is improved, congestions are reduced and my pores are visibly minimised. I feel that my skin feels refreshed and brighter. The red marks are from the extraction because my skin type is pretty sensitive, but I am happy that they were all gone after a good night’s rest! My complexion here after a facial is considered superb. If it’s my regular ones, I don’t think I want to even post a photo here, haha!

I am seriously considering to sign up for a few sessions to see if the treatment works on my skin. I will report back should I continue with the treatment!
