Just as I thought that the liquid matte lip stain trend is dying down, Sephora manages to revive it with their newly revamped Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick! Get your lips covered with bold colour from AM to PM.

The SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick is a silky, long-lasting lip stain that glides on super smoothly while giving you strong pigmentation and colour. For all you ladies who do not have time, or simply do not want to do any touch-ups, this is the lipstick for you.

I used to explore the SEPHORA COLLECTION lipsticks and eye shadows. However, they didn’t interest me because they weren’t exciting enough to warrant a review, until I met these lip stains. Even though it says that it’s a lip stain, I feel that this works like a liquid matte lipstick instead for it gives you power-charged colour intensity in a matte texture.

The Formula

You know how most liquid matte lipsticks are drying and gives you flaky lips? This one does just the opposite! It is infused with avocado oil and vitamin E which deliver colour that feels comfortable on the lips and is never sticky! In addition, the best part of all is that they won’t dry out the lips. How good is that? I’m not singing praises just for the sake of doing so. All you need to do is to head down to the SEPHORA store and try them onto the lips yourself. You’ll totally get what I mean.

The Range

To sum it all, with a range of colours from taupe and browns to pink and reds, you’ll find yourself reaching out for only the Cream Lip Stain. There’s also the blackest black you’ll ever get. Hands down, this is by far one of the best liquid lipsticks I’ve ever owned. It contends with the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick, Palladio Velvet Matte Cream Lip Color and Too Faced Melted Matte.
