Sharing some of my favourites in this review, I’ll also be showing you the products that helped me achieve that sweet, bubbly look.
W.Lab Color Master Cover Kit
To start off, I’m all about having a perfect skin canvas before I work my colours. After applying ample and proper skincare, I like to correct the redness and brighten areas on my skin with colour correcting pigments. The W.Lab Color Master Cover Kit, with 6 shades, is perfect for the job!
The 6 shades (L-R) are:
- Lavender – for brightening
- Light Beige – for dullness/concealing
- Peach – for dullness
- Green – for redness
- Beige – for dullness/concealing
- Dark Beige – for concealing/contouring
Here’s how I used it to colour correct my skin before I pile on my BB Cushion. The purpose of colour correctors are to help cancel out redness/dullness that your BB Cushion/foundation can’t effectively cover. I like how the palette consists of many shades to help with those problem areas. Oh, and they are very blendable too!
Next up, BB Cushions! Who doesn’t love their BB Cushion? W.Lab has got about 6 types of cushions in the market (WOW!) and specifically, the Blossom White Cushion and the W-Snow Water Cushion, are some of their innovative cushions which help in whitening while providing the skin with a dewy finish, just like K-pop stars!
(Look at the delicate floral design on the Blossom White Cushion!)
Blossom White Cushion & W-Snow Water Cushion
The Blossom White Cushion has got 3 shades (13, 21, 23) and is meant for wrinkle improvement, anti-aging and it hydrates your skin with the 33% Damask Rose water contained. On the other hand, as I was reaching more for high coverage, the W-Snow Water Cushion was cushion for me as it also helps to soothe irritated skin while providing ample coverage and hydrating properties.
W.Lab Pocket Shadow Palettes
Having achieved a flawless skin canvas, the highlight of the look is none other than the eye colours! I’m so excited to share with you the beautiful shades that the W.Lab Pocket Shadow Palettes have!
These eye shadow palettes, named “Pocket Shadow Palette”, are meant to be staples on your vanity. With essential shades for you to create many looks, the silky smooth pigments simply makes your makeup routine much faster and easier! As mentioned, with peach makeup in trend, I chose the Pocket Shadow Palette – Blooming for soft, peachy eyes that mesmerise.
The palette consists of 3 matte and 7 glittery shades that contain flower extract to help protect the eye area while you’re at it. Oh and not to mention the names of the shades, they are all in flower names. Cherry Blossom, Kaffir Lily and Freesia are must-have shades to make your eyes pop. The versatile shades can be used as highlighters even! It’s the one palette you need for an everyday Spring/Summer look. Here are the shades I’ve used for my eye look:
To further complement the eyes, I’ve also chosen a pink lip tint, the Color Up Tint in #02 Romantic Pink, for kissable lips. It is long-lasting and highly pigmented with a nice glossy sheen which I really like. Of course, you may opt for the other lip products such as the One Day Henna Tint for solid, smudge-proof colour (for kissing, maybe?), or the Velvet Color Stick for a creamy, velvet texture.
Flower Lip & Cheek Kit
A makeup look cannot be complete without having rosy cheeks and that glow we’re all lusting for. To finish up my look, I’ve used a combination of a all-over finish powder, coupled with a cream and powdered blusher, to ensure my face makeup lasts all day. The Flower Lip & Cheek Kit is by far one of the most versatile palette in W.Lab’s makeup range.
As its name suggests, it is a portable kit with 6 shades that you can use as lip tints or cream blushers. Highly pigmented yet blendable, you don’t have to fret that you’ll get streaky lines on your face. The trick is to pick the right brush and build the coverage on the cheek as you go along.
Face Powder + Blusher
Topping off the cream blush, I have the Bling Bling Cheek in Pink! This is one handy eyeshadow, blusher and highlighter while you’re on the go. The gradation allows you to obtain a multi-dimensional look and what I really love about this is how sparkly the highlighter portion is! A picture speaks a thousand words, so scroll down to my final makeup look to see how the highlight sparkle! Before that, to finish off, I used the Sebum Out Finish Pact that contains gem complex powder to reduce sebum secretion while brightening the overall skin complexion. It also helps to reduce pore size.
The Final Makeup Look
As promised, the final makeup look! I love how it turned out and honestly, it took me less than 30 minutes to create this look. W.Lab’s makeup products are so idiot-proof and easy to work with that you really don’t need to spend much time looking good.
(Can you see the sheen on the cheekbone?)
W.Lab is available in the following places:

Create yourself and be gorgeous! XOXO, Roanna.
