Take the first whiff and you’ll be enthralled by the opening notes of citrus fruits, lemon and grapefruit, combined with the sweetness of blackcurrant. Before you know it, this uniquely feminine fragrance transcends into a spread of beautiful, lush and exotic white flowers – jasmine, neroli and lotus. The gorgeous jasmine sambac is used as a key note to add a sparkling dewiness to the blend and gives it that tropical touch.
At the base, you’ll recognise sandalwood immedately for its woody accents, made full with exotic hinoki wood, gardenia and cottonwood. The overall blend is like having a summer beach fling – refreshing, romantic, passionate but short-lived. After about 4 hours or so, there seemed to be only a subtle sandalwood fragrance lurking. I quite like that faint smell. Non-overpowering and gives me a sense of tranquility.
