It’s the Tarte Rainforest After Dark Palette!
Look at the snake details of this palette, and the scaly packaging, isn’t it mysterious yet very tropical like? Seems rather fierce, I like! I especially like that purple gem in the middle of the snake’s head.
The palette is part of the Rainforest collection together with the limited edition gold eyelash curler with a snake charm on it, a gel eyeliner as well as their lip surgence.
Altogether, there are 6 eyeshadows – 4 mattes and 2 satin finishes – as well as a highlighter (champagne), the famous clan favourite bronzer (park ave princess) and a matte full-sized blush (unleashed). I love how the palette consists of 3 plum shades and 3 neutral shades of eyeshadows as you can see by the divide, and of course the face products that allow you to achieve a full look.

Unleashed is pretty light as a blusher. With my Asian medium skin tone, it still shows up and I’m quite glad that it does. However, the eyeshadow Bare to Explore doesn’t seem to show up and it even blends into my skin tone so I would suggest using it as a highlighter or a base.

Overall, I’m pretty happy that I got this palette at a 10% discount using my Sephora White Card privileges so I bought it for only S$44.10 when it first released. The palette retails for S$49 at almost all Sephora outlets in Singapore. It’s limited edition, so grab them before they run out!
