The perfect peach pucker with Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss: Review, Swatches & Makeup Looks

Happy Lunar New Year, my lovelies! It’s day 2 of the Chinese New Year and I’m spending it swatching and reviewing the juiciest lip glosses ever – Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss. Pucker up with the silky, smooth, and peach oil infused lip gloss that smells and tastes like fresh picked peaches.

Too Faced Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Jerrod Blandino, specially created these perfect lip accessories to complement the Sweet Peach Palette. With lip-loving peach oil, coconut oil and Vitamin E, the Creamy Peach Oil Lip Glosses soften and moisturise your lips while giving you that sexy pout.

The Lip Gloss

The Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss comes in 8 shades of nudes, peachy pinks and corals, with a cute peach icon sticker on the top of the cap. With a rich, nourishing texture, I like that the lip glosses melt into the lips to plump them up, making the lips look fuller. Smelling like fragrant peaches, they taste like sweet peaches too! If you’re going to accidentally lick your lips, you’ll be sure to taste some peach gummies 😀

The Swatches

The 8 shades are:

  • Peach Fuzz – Peachy nude
  • Peach-sicle – Creamy peach
  • Papa Don’t Peach – Spiced peach
  • Peach, Please! – Coral pink
  • Pure Peach – Peachy pink
  • Peach Tease – Electric peach
  • Poppin’ Peach – Bright peach pop
  • Tickle-Me-Peach – Watermelon

Here are the lip swatches and how they look on my lips when worn. In general, I like that the lip glosses are creamy yet not too sticky. However, the lighter shades tend to disappear really quickly after drinking/eating, whereas the darker shades such as Poppin’ Peach and Tickle-Me-Peach melts into the lips to give a orange/red tint that lasts for an hour or two if you’re lucky. Topping the lip glosses off a lipstick for a glossy finish is the best way to wear these glosses.

The Lip Swatches

Personally, as my lips are pretty pigmented, and my skin tone is darker, the lighter shades completely doesn’t work for me. The light shades such as Peach Fuzz and Peach-sicle, as you can see from the makeup looks below, make me look really pale and washed out. My favourites are Papa Don’t Peach, a nice brown nude; Peach Tease, a sweet rose pink and Ticke-Me-Peach, a bright watermelon red.

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss is now retailing at SGD30 on Sephora Online, and out in Sephora stores on 2 February onwards. Which one will you be getting?

Create yourself and be gorgeous!
XOXO, Roanna.
