Urban Decay: 24/7 Glide On Pencils & Revolution Lipsticks Review & Swatches

Urban Decay Makeup

A happy happy Monday to all you lovelies out there! 🙂

Today’s about a review and swatches of some Urban Decay products I have been loving – the much loved 24/7 Glide On Pencils and Revolution lipsticks! If you’re a fan of Urban Decay (like me, I absolutely LOVE the buttery smooth eyeshadows), you would not want to give these a miss.

24/7 Glide On Pencils
Desperation, Woodstock, Smog, (Double-ended) Stash & Sabbath, Zero & Whiskey

Revolution Lipsticks
Manic, Venom, Obsessed, Lovelight
Aren’t the packaging lovely? I fell in love with the Revolution lipsticks’ packaging because of it’s clean metallic purple casing. It just looks so badass and sexy don’t you think? 😉 The packaging has a little bit of weight as well which makes it feel luxurious for the price you are paying.

On to the review for the eyeliners. The 24/7 Glide on Pencils are certainly a must-have in your makeup collection if you would like a hassle-free makeup application. They can be used as eyeliners as well as eyeshadows when you smudge them out on your lids before they dry. The formula is pigmented, rich and creamy and there is a wide variety of shades to choose from! However, even though it says 24/7, they don’t last that long on my oily lids. They tend to smudge when I apply them on my lower lash line. Usually at about midday when my lids start to oil up, I would expect smudges on my lower lid which is a tad hard to remove with just a regular tissue. So beware of using this on the lower lash line for people with oily lids!

Swatches on my clean arm without a primer or base:
24/7 Glide On Pencils
Desperation – Matte greyish taupe
Woodstock – shimmery metallic hot pink
Smog – metallic warm bronze
Stash – gold olive with gold micro glitter
Sabbath – deep matte navy blue
Zero – brown tone matte black
Whiskey – warm chocolate brown with gold micro glitter

Being a lipstick lover with dry lips, I have always been searching for the perfect lippie formula which doesn’t dry out my lips. And my, I am impressed with the formula of these Revolution lipsticks! They are creamy and smooth to glide onto the lips and it’s long-lasting as well, especially for the darker shades like Manic and Venom. However, I do require a lip balm before putting on this lipstick (as with any other lipsticks actually) even though it is really creamy and moisturising. My favourite has got to be Venom for its sexy and evil-looking purple tone.

Swatches on my clean arm with 2 swipes:
Revolution Lipsticks
Manic – soft rosy wine
Venom – bright plum/berry-red
Obsessed – bright candy pink
Lovelight – warm light coral with soft gold shimmer

Overall, I really love Urban Decay for their unique packaging (yes, I am a sucker for packaging) and long-lasting formula of their products. It almost seems like they never fail in anything they make! I haven’t tried their powder/foundation yet but I would say so far, none of their makeup (eyeshadows, lipsticks, eyeliners) have disappointed me!

The 24/7 Glide On Pencils retails for S$30 (duo is priced at S$45) while the Revolution Lipsticks are priced at S$36. You can get them at all Sephora Singapore stores or simply purchase it on http://www.sephora.com/urban-decay if you are in the States.

Hope you enjoyed this colourful review on my favourite makeup brand! Till next time! 😉

Create yourself and be gorgeous, girls! ♡
XOXO
