Valentine’s Day 2015 Date Night Makeup: Pictorial

Valentine's Day 2015 Date Night Makeup
Valentine’s Day is TOMORROW! I am so so excited for a lovely day to be spent with my love and friends! It’s going to be a double date, my first time ever on V-Day! Since tomorrow is going to be a celebration of love, what makeup are you going to sport for a sweet date?
Ladies, if you are going out with your boyfriend, I suggest to not go over the top with your eyeshadows. Guys don’t really like makeup on their girlfriends because they simply love the “au naturel” look. However, if you’re like me and wish to doll up and look pretty in pictures, here are my suggested makeup for that girly, romantic eyes! I have used these products to recreate 2 different looks with pictorials below.
The 2 looks might look similar because essentially, the colours used are rather soft and sweet. However, on closer look, you can spot the differences between the pinks and champagnes used.
Sweet Girl-Next-Door Look
For this look, I’ve used my Chanel Quad in Tisse Cambon because of the pink and eggplant shade in there. You definitely want your makeup to last longer so opt for waterproof mascaras and eyeliners. The eyeliner used is the Clio Kill Brown Brush Liner, together with my holy grail mascara, the YSL Babydoll.
Here is a pictorial to better enable you to see where you should place each eyeshadow colour.
(Pardon the colour variation due to the differences in angles taken.)
I really love this look and this is probably going to be the look I am wearing tomorrow, because I adore the reflective pink shade in the Chanel quad. It kind of soften the fierce look from my strong eyes.
This is how I look with full makeup on!
Classy, Romantic Girl Look
If you prefer a more neutral and classier look, opt for champagne shades! A pale shimmery champagne eyeshadow will brighten up your eyes and make them look rounder and bigger. Of course, for dimension and definition, you need a darker chocolate/coppery shade to define your eyes. Here, I’m using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, the perfect rose-gold palette for an everyday neutral look! I have used the same mascara and eyeliner just to show you the difference in eyeshadow shade.
A pictorial for the classy look here. If you wish, you can opt for a black eyeliner for this look to define your eyes a bit more. As you can see, it’s pretty similar to the sweet look because of the rosy gold shades, but this is a tad more shimmery in real life due to the specks of glitter in the shade Dust.
A close up on the eyes. Can you spot the glitters?
The final look!
(Here I have a orange-nude lip or a pinky-nude lip. Opt for whichever you prefer!)
Hope you enjoyed any of these looks and if you do recreate them, snap a picture on Instagram and #PARADEOFLOVEMAKEUP! I would love to see your recreations or even your own edition of a date night makeup look!
Have a sweet and lovely Valentine’s Day my lovelies!
Create yourself and be gorgeous! ♡
XOXO, Roanna.
