Etude House Flagship Store in Singapore : Roanna Tan

Yes you’ve got it! The World’s largest Etude House flagship boutique is now in Singapore at Wisma Atria (#B1-20/21/22)! You can now realise your princess fantasy with ETUDE! Due to the huge crowd, I did not manage to take pictures of the actual boutique space but here are some captures from the officials.

(Featuring the Princess Happy Ending collection at the left and the various “stations” with the different makeup and skincare essentials!)

(One of my favourite displays in the store – Cinderella’s glass slipper, and a quote that says, “Your own magical story has already begun. Princess Fantasy is now happening in your life.”)

The 2,300-square-feet space is inspired by the motif of a Princess Palace – a grander version compared to other Etude House stores which are based on the concept of a Princess House – to accentuate the fairytale elements, reinforcing its sweet princess and feminine positioning. There are different elements in the store, firstly, a life-sized pumpkin carriage inspired by Disney’s Cinderella, for the princess in you! Lucky me, I managed to snag a few shots of the carriage with my fellow gorgeous beauty-blogging friends and the tall Korean models specially flown in to grace the private event!

(And my cute boyfie said to me, “Your Prince Charming is me!!!!! *Proceeds to delete the words I typed on the photo* hahaha I love you my boyfie!)

(The one beside me is sooooooooo cute! He even said “ByeBye!” to me when he walked past me hahaha :P)

To further hype things up, the press event was hosted by local radio station Y.E.S. 93.3FM DJ Siau Jiahui and there were guest appearances by Pony, the beautiful Korean makeup artist, and local celebrity Xu Bin (another Prince Charming)! Pony did a lovely makeup demo featuring the NEW Play 101 pencils and the BB Any Cushion!

In case you are wondering, Pony (a.k.a. Park Hye Min) is a Korean makeup artist who has superb makeup skills and has written books on makeup tips! She does YouTube tutorials featuring various types of looks, as well as celebrity cover makeups! Watch Pony’s Beauty Diary here.

Let’s go on to the makeup demo! Okay she is more like a Fairy Godsister than a mother because she is soooooooo gorgeous and her skin is simply like baby skin!

Some tips from Pony:

Use the air cushion puff to gently layer your BB cushion on your skin. Be sure pat on thin layers, layer by layer, for that natural finish. Korean makeup is all about being flawless and natural at the same time.
Use the side of the puff to gently set the undereye areas with powder. This can give you an even finish with precision.
When using the mascara, be sure to use zig-zag motions only at the lash line. Use straight, upward motions to comb through the rest of the lashes to avoid clumping.
Remember to blend in your base/foundation to the neck so that your makeup looks even and not two-toned.

And of course, I managed to be one of the Top Spenders that night to be able to take a close up shot with Prince Xu Bin in the pumpkin carriage! I was pretty surprised because I didn’t expect my name to be called! I was practically shocked and Regina was so much more excited than I was.

Some more shots of the night with Cheryl and Jerlene, as well as Regina! There was a photobooth for us to take pictures in using 2 PINK coins (spend $20 to receive 1 coin), and also a gachapon machine for the dispensing of Etude’s charm bracelet and charms! Everyone was so excited!!!

(The PINK coins and the charm bracelet I managed to assemble with my lucky tries at the machines!)

Oh and kudos to Word of Mouth Communications (@wom_sg) and Etude House Singapore, we were able to exchange the pink wristband for this beautiful vanity case filled with the ENTIRE Princess Happy Ending collection! I managed to snag the Cushion Set, a powder brush, a mini liptint and 2 Play 101 pencils, courtesy of Etude House! A HUGE THANK YOU to Cindy from WOM and the Etude House team for the hospitality and the invite! 🙂

(Lots of goodies to try now and of course, that little instax with Prince Xu Bin certainly tops it off with extra sweetness!)

Overall, I have to say that his private event is the best I have seen so far! We were literally treated like princesses and the ~4 hours of pampering certainly wow-ed me! You have to really go down and see it for yourselves!
