Hoot hoot! The cutest makeup just arrived in town!~
LANEIGE presents its third installment of the LANEIGE Meets Fashion project, this time with LUCKY CHOUETTE, a second line from Jardin de Chouette, created for the everyday fashionistas! Mixing street style and artful graffiti graphics, LUCKY CHOUETTE appeals to the trendy youngsters.
LANEIGE x LUCKY CHOUETTE collection is embodied by the cute Bella and Vely owls to set hearts aflutter! Fun fact: did you know that “Chouette” is actually “Owl” in French?
The adorable limited edition collection features the BB Cushion, Serum Drop Tints and a face product, Multi-Colour. And did I mention how cute are the BB Cushion puffs?! How can anyone bear to use them?

Always global favourites, the LANEIGE BB Cushions are sporting the Lucky chouettes on their cushion covers! Available in 2 versions, pink for Whitening and black (not shown here) for Pore Control. I’m an all-time fan of the Pore Control but I loooooove the cuteness of the owl prints on the Whitening one! Ain’t it cute?
Oh yes if you haven’t noticed, the BB Cushions have reformulated and are housed in a brand new packaging too. For this limited edition collection, expect a pink ribboned cushion puff when you open it up. 😉

On to the other face product in this collection – Multi-Colour. I know I need to stop going on and on about how cute the packaging is but just look at this baby. I bet that you’ll squeal in delight once you set eyes on the inside.
Tadah! Another owl sitting in the pan waiting for you to stroke it 😉 The Multi-Colour is a highlighter powder that comes in the design of Vely chouette with Bella’s charming eyes. However, the interesting thing is that the eyes are only printed on the plastic cover with only a faint embossing on the actual product.
Initially before swatching this product, I thought that the individual shades can be used as eyeshadows. However, upon contact with my fingers, I knew immediately that it’s not going to work because I cannot even seem to grab any pigmentation out of the orange body!!! You can see for yourself below that it’s not even visible. Anyhow, it’s a perfect highlighting powder for the cheeks as it gives a soft glow when combined. Ironically, it can be used as a base eyeshadow when you swirl your brush across all shades.
As with Korean makeup, glossy, kissable lips are a must and to help you achieve that, LANEIGE x LUCKY CHOUETTE presents a lip essential for all K-Beauty lovers! The Serum Drop Tint features a new oil-serum formula that gives you lasting colour while plumping up your lips for that perfect pout! Oh yes, you’ve got Bella and Vely on the cover too!
Formulated with Berry Mix Complex™ (no wonder it smells sweet) which is a mixture of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, blueberry and goji berry, the tint keeps your lips smooth and supple by delivering a dose of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.
Also, be sure that your lips are kept hydrated because the Moisture Wrap™ technology helps to moisturise through a network of hyaluronic minerals power-packed with skin purifying ingredients. There are 10 shades available, ranging from your corals to pinks and reds. The Serum Drop Tints will still be available in their normal packaging after the launch of the LANEIGE x LUCKY CHOUETTE edition.

Honestly the shades are pretty similar when they are swatched side by side, not to mention when applied on the lips. I seriously think Sassy Girl and Urban Coral are too similar, especially when worn on the lips.
