Alice Through The Looking Glass Nails with J Nails Garden: Review

Alice Through The Looking Glass Nails
“When the day becomes the night and the sky becomes the sea. When the clock strikes heavy and there’s no time for tea. And in our darkest hour, before my final rhyme, she will come back home to Wonderland and turn back the hands of time.” – Cheshire Cat
Yep it’s a verse from Alice Through The Looking Glass, a film that I very much enjoyed, so much so that I actually got Jacelyn from J Nails Garden to design a set of Alice Through The Looking Glass Nails for me!
If you’ve watched the movie, you’d know that the colour theme of ATTLG circles around vibrant colours such as purple, red, bright green and orange laced with the majestic gold. I wanted to recreate that feel without forgetting about the deep mysterious shades of blue and black from the character, Time. I must say Jacelyn and her fellow nail artist did an amazing job!!!

As usual, Jacelyn started off my removing my previous set of nails, the Nautical Floral design she did for me.
And then it was time for the nail art! So much effort was being put in for this set of manicure seriously. The detailed drawing, the number of colours used and even crystals and embellishments went into the design too!
I can’t get over how intricate and beautiful the hand-drawn details are! I have a Cheshire Cat with Alice, and some Ace of Hearts to complement the set. Of course, any Alice in Wonderland-themed project cannot do without a clock. I got Jacelyn to paint a marbelised black clock to symbolise Time in the movie. And see the pinky? It’s supposed to encompass the feel of Alice’s oriental dress she wore at the dinner event in ATTLG.
THOSE DETAILS! Alice even have got her eyelashes drawn!!!!
My second trip to J Nails Garden really impressed me even further as you can see by the mad skills the nail artists there have. Also check out some of the monthly featured nails that talented Jacelyn did. I can’t wait for my next trip to J Nails Garden!
