Complexion perfection with Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer: Review & Swatches

Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Concealer

Concealers are my best friend; I can’t live without one because I’m always in need of some coverage for my pigmentation-filled skin. All those acne scars got me super-reliant on concealers, especially high coverage ones.

Thanks to the team from Too Faced, I got to try one of the best concealers (maybe I should do a top 5 concealers post?) thus far – Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer.

This concealer is no ordinary product – as its name suggests, it’s a multi-use product that helps you to conceal, contour, highlight and retouch, at any time of the day. With 20 shades catered to the fairest to the deepest of skin tones, it’s no wonder this is perfect to contour and highlight as well.

Instantly hide imperfections with Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer: Review & Swatches

Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer
They say, “Beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin”, but I say, flawless makeup starts with the perfect concealer! I’ve never understood the use of a concealer in the past because I thought that having a high coverage foundation to cover scars is sufficient. However, for deeply darkened spots, a foundation is never good enough to provide that desired coverage, and that’s when you need Mr. Concealer to step in and caress (or rather, conceal) those areas 😉 Well, it’s never too late to realise what wonders a concealer can do for your skin, right?
For about 2 years now, I’ve sworn by the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (I use the shade Custard) and the Urban Decay NAKED Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer (I use the shade Medium). Those 2 are my all-time holy grail that I cannot live without – for the former, spot concealing and for the latter, to conceal dark under-eye circles. Can I now proudly add the Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer into my holy grail too?! It’s divine.

May 2015 Beauty Favourites
Another month has passed in a blink of an eye I must say. Integrating into work life and juggling between work, personal time, blogging and relationships with people is in fact, not as easy as I thought it would be. Pardon me for my lack of updates including makeup pictorials! I am really trying to schedule them, possibly 2-3 every month so stay with me alright? 😉
So May has been a month of crazy ups and downs. Dealing with people relations was draining me inside out so in terms of my makeup/skincare favourites this month, it was all about the right staples. Well, just to simplify a small aspect of my life, yes?
My skin’s breaking out recently perhaps due to the stresses in my life right now. The remedy for my dull, tired skin is nothing fanciful – The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser. I really LOVE the texture of this because it’s thick yet in a gel texture that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It has an invigorating citrus fragrance that makes me awake and happy in the mornings!
