Today’s makeup of the day is how to wear green on Asian eyes, and also a review on shu uemura’s pressed eyeshadows. Pardon for the recent rave on shu because I have received quite a lot of palettes (some obsolete, some catalogue products) during the recent office move! (Thank youuuuuuu shu!) 😀
Let’s get into the makeup look without further ado! Presenting the pressed eyeshadows from L-R:
P520 light green – pearlescent pale green
ME580 – satin forest green
ME471 – satin olive taupe
ME996 – metallic brown-toned deep grey

shu uemura: Tint in Gelato
A review up as promised! This is something different from my usual reviews, because I am currently interning in the brand now. It’s going to my honest opinion about the product, as well as lip swatches I did as part of a digital launch project for the brand.
Being a makeup lover, it’s always fun and exciting when makeup brands come up with colourful launches, especially in the eyes and lips categories for me as I really adore eyeshadows, drawing pencils and lip products! This summer, shu uemura (in small letters, pronounced as shoo-oo-eh-moo-ra) came up with a lip and cheek tint, called Tint in Gelato, just in time to hop onto the bandwagon of where the beauty market is going.


The Tint in Gelato (TIG) comes in a velvety soft semi-matte texture and there are 12 delicious shades as follows:
