Undeniably, my favourite makeup category has got to be eyeshadows! If you know me well enough, you’ll know that I have a huge love for eyeshadows simply because I love to play with colours! There are a great variety of eye colours in the market, be it pressed ones, loose pigments and foil eyeshadows etc., and of course a huge myriad of brands too! Recently, I came across a Taiwanese brand, Solone, in SaSa (as mentioned in my previous review for their eye pencils) and the pigmentation of their eyeshadows really wow-ed me! Because of the cute packaging, I feel like I’m in a Solone Wonderland with these 2 palettes that I have, c/o Solone Singapore!

Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette: Christmas Makeup Look Pictorial
Christmas is coming, it’s near and I can feel it in my bones! The weather’s getting chilly even though Singapore is Summer all year round. The annual monsoon season (instead of Winter) is here for us in this sunny island and it signifies the coming of the end of the year!
Well, here’s a Christmas Look I did using one of the Holiday collection palettes, the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette! I know I haven’t done a review on it yet but I am going to jump ahead and go straight into my Christmas Red and Green eye makeup!
This was a collaboration done with my dear friend, Fifi from (@fifiliciousify), and you can check out her look on my Instagram as well as hers!
Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette: Review & Swatches
It’s my exams period now and I was contemplating if I should do up the review of this Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette. I decided to take a break from all that studying and review this palette because there were too many requests for the quality and pigmentation! Also, I did a quick Google search and realised not many did reviews for this palette (surprisingly), hence here are my thoughts to better facilitate your purchase decisions!
I would say that I am definitely not an avid fan of Hello Kitty but I do have the entire Hello Kitty Wedding x MacDonald’s collection, the one that got the entire country (or countries) crazily flocking to the fast food chain to queue, courtesy of my mummy! With all the beautiful holiday launches, I decided to go ahead and get this palette (amongst the many I got) just because I couldn’t resist the packaging and the range of colours inside.
At the back of the box, there are the names of the eyeshadow colours and the shades are depicted as little Hello Kitty bows, how adorable! Majority of the shade names are very reflective of the anniversary theme, This is one packaging that you will not be able to resist, especially if you are a Hello Kitty fan!
(P.S. They could probably use a better word for what Hello Kitty is saying instead of “Hello!”.)
October 2014 Empties: Review
Somehow, I have been using up products recently! It never occurred to me that I will be using up my makeup products months ago and now, I am writing my second review on my empties (products I have used up)! *Pats myself* for the achievement! Yes, it feels like an achievement to me to be able to religiously use something till it hits the last drop/bit.
October 2014 Empties consists of a range of products from makeup, skincare, haircare to home fragrance. “Wow, that’s impressive” was what I’m thinking as I type the previous sentence. I’m still in disbelief that I could use up a candle. One whole chunk of candle in less than 2 months :O Haha, anyway, here we go! I have a shampoo, a gel moisturiser, tea tree facial oil, a lipbalm, a brow gel and a home candle!
