Mad about matte with Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick: Review & Swatches

It’s matte-ness (madness) everywhere with the innovation of liquid lipsticks! And you thought they would stop at the glossy, creamy finishes but guess what? Liquid matte lipsticks are part of the current makeup trend now, that every beauty brand you find in the market is hopping onto the bandwagon. Too Faced, one of my favourite brands since I’ve started exploring makeup, has also released its version of the liquid matte lipsticks – Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick.

There are 17 shades altogether, ranging from your usual reds and pinks to exotic shades such as deep blue, and even deeper shades of brown and berry. I only have 7 shades here with me and I reckon these will be the more popular and wearable shades that people like me and you will grab off the shelves. It’s the time to sport whacky fun shades you’ve never tried. For all you lion city dwellers, be delighted as a new makeup brand is hitting our drugstores – Palladio Beauty!

Uniquely Palladio, its products are made with herbs and vitamins, among which, contain antioxidants such as Ginseng, Green Tea, Gingko Biloba, Vitamin E, natural humectants and skin soothers such as Aloe Vera and Chamomile. Sounds unbelievable already?

Specifically for the introduction of Palladio into Singapore, I’m going to focus on two range of lip products, mainly the Herbal Lip Gloss and Velvet Matte Cream Lip Color.

Palladio Herbal Lip Gloss feature oil-based formulas rich in Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to help soften and moisturise lips. I guess the word “herbal” comes from the fact that it contains herbs such as Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract and Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract.

Greetings my lovelies, it’s been a week since I last reviewed anything and I am back with a post full of vibrant colours and textures! It’s a pop of colours with Clinique‘s makeup line! There’s something for the eyes, cheeks and even the lips!

For the ones who have not been acquainted to the brand, Clinique is a beauty brand that is deeply rooted in their dermatological heritage. From skincare to colour, every product is customised for all skin types and concerns. Even for their makeup, every Clinique eyeshadow and mascara is ophthalmologist tested. The lip colours are loaded with do-gooders like moisturisers to keep your lips looking soft and supple.
