Illuminate your complexion with Guerlain Météorites Birthday Candle Pearls: Review & Swatches

Guerlain Météorites Birthday Candle Pearls

Guerlain is known for its Météorites, loose powder created in the form of multi-coloured pearls. To celebrate its 30th birthday, Météorites has created a new luminous harmony that delicately warms up the complexion. The Guerlain Météorites Birthday Candle Pearls illuminate your skin with a soft, diffuse light, just like the flattering glow of a candle.

Being a fan of the Météorites, this anniversary edition of the classic pearls is a must-have in my vanity. How can anyone resist the sweet pink case with beautiful gold, pink and champagne/white pearls?

Mon Guerlain – a tribute to strong, free and sensual feminity, inspired by Angelina Jolie: Review

Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum

My invisible tattoo, my fragrance, Mon Guerlain.

About Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum

Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum, the House’s new fragrance, is created as a tribute to today’s femininity – a strong, free and sensual femininity, as inspired by Hollywood star, Angelina Jolie. The emotions and dreams that embody modern femininity have all been captured in this bottle by Thierry Wasser, in-house perfumer of Guerlain.

The fresh oriental fragrance is put together by a medley of exceptional raw materials from all over the world, including Carla Lavender from Provence, Sambac Jasmine from India, Album Sandalwood from Australia and Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea. It’s a pretty interesting blend of ingredients, I must say, made much for the everyday working women.

March 2015 Beauty Favourites: Review

March 2015 Beauty Favourites
What?! It’s April already? But.. I wasn’t ready!
Time really flies. We were still in March but now we’re stepping into the fourth month of year 2015! March for me was pretty much full of ups and downs – I was happy mainly because it was my birthday month yet I was upset a lot of times because of the lack of time my boy had for me, even to celebrate my birthday. The good thing is that they’ve all been resolved now and I guess I just need to learn to reduce my dependence on a person to be happier?
Anyway, here’s a round up of my beauty favourites in March! Everything here is new because I’ve been largely rotating my makeup so as to stick to my resolution for the year 😉

For the whole of January, I was busy trying to recover and save my skin from the nasty outbreak after I came back from my vacations, hence my focus was primarily on skincare. I think this is also probably the first time I have no eyeshadow palettes in my favourites, with my New Year resolution of trying to rotate and use more of all my makeup.
Without further ado, let’s dig into my January 2015 Beauty Favourites!

2014 Beauty Favourites: A Highlight on My Favourite Products

2014 Beauty Favourites
The year 2014 has indeed been an eventful year for me. Through this year, I experienced several things that made me grow as a person, including falling back in love again (and cherishing what I failed to), graduating from school, travelling solo (kind of because I was exploring Sydney pretty much on my own for the most part) and learning how to travel with my family now that everyone has grown up. Not forgetting the fact that creating @paradeoflove made me explore my interests more and made me new friends too. I’m thankful for the opportunities that came by as well, allowing ParadeOfLove to grow further. To sum up, 2014 was nothing short of amazing 🙂
Anyway, here’s a round up of my 2014 Beauty Favourites – a highlight into the products that I have been using and loving for the year. The products may or may not be launched in 2014 because this is a round up of my personal beauty picks for the year.

We’ll start from the face products, going in order of a typical makeup routine, shall we? 😉
