Go chic or strong with THEFACESHOP x Marvel Mono Pop Eyes: Review, Swatches & Makeup Looks

THEFACESHOP x Marvel Mono Pop Eyes

So, after the cutesy collaboration with The Simpsons and DreamWorks Trolls, THEFACESHOP nails it again with a collaboration with Marvel! Isn’t it marvellous? Teehee! Fight those sleepy and dull looking eyes with a splash of smashing colours!

Seriously, this has got to be the fastest I’ve churned out a review. I literally bought these two palettes last week and here I am with a lowdown of these THEFACESHOP x Marvel Mono Pop Eyes palettes. I’ve personally really enjoyed these palettes and am quite stoked to be able to land my hands on them. I heard that the Strong Red palette has ran out of stock just days after the launch, and phew, am I glad it’s sitting on my vanity now staring at me while I pen down my thoughts.

Elegance and femininity with Make Up Store 12 Shades of Pink Eyeshadow Palette: Review

Make Up Store 12 Shades of Pink Eyeshadow Palette

Pink is a universally flattering shade for not just your lips, but also your eyes. The colour pink is the colour of universal love of oneself and of others. It signifies love, playfulness, sweetness and simply, femininity. It’s easy to find the perfect pink lipstick but I must say that it’s not as simple to find the right balance of pinks to dress your eyes without looking like you’ve been bruised in the eyes.

To celebrate the sweet blush shade, Make Up Store came up with a limited edition palette that brings you elegance and femininity, the 12 Shades of Pink. Want to see how I get this romantic, flirty look? Read on for swatches and a step-by-step pictorial!

A naturally radiant no-makeup makeup look with Neutrogena: Review, Swatches & Makeup Look

no-makeup makeup look with Neutrogena

Sponsored by iHerb

Happy are those days when you wake up with good skin and makeup application seems to be a breeze. I just love it when I can have a naturally radiant complexion with simple makeup to enhance my features instead of having my usual thick high-coverage foundation to cover my blemishes.

One Brand Only Makeup Look

Neutrogena has been a brand that I grew up with, especially with its facial cleansers. The recent launch of their Deep Clean Micellar Gel to Foam Cleansers left me in awe for the superb cleansing properties, and I actually emptied three bottles of it! While the brand is being known for their skincare in Singapore, what left me pleasantly surprised is the range of makeup they carry for you to put together a healthy and natural look. I had lots of fun creating this no-makeup makeup look using the range of Neutrogena makeup c/o iHerb.

PSST, DISCOUNT CODE AT THE END!

Jump on the lip stain train with SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick: Review, Swatches and Makeup Looks

SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick

Just as I thought that the liquid matte lip stain trend is dying down, Sephora manages to revive it with their newly revamped Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick! Get your lips covered with bold colour from AM to PM.

The SEPHORA COLLECTION Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick is a silky, long-lasting lip stain that glides on super smoothly while giving you strong pigmentation and colour. For all you ladies who do not have time, or simply do not want to do any touch-ups, this is the lipstick for you.

I used to explore the SEPHORA COLLECTION lipsticks and eye shadows. However, they didn’t interest me because they weren’t exciting enough to warrant a review, until I met these lip stains. Even though it says that it’s a lip stain, I feel that this works like a liquid matte lipstick instead for it gives you power-charged colour intensity in a matte texture.

Burn baby, burn, with the Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette: Review, Swatches and Makeup Looks

Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette

Oh yeah, as the title says, you’re about to get burnt by the hottest launch of the year – the Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette. If you thought that the previous Naked palettes were hot stuff, brace yourself and enter the next level with the newest iteration.

The most sweltering Naked palette yet has reached our shores (yay!) and was sold out within an hour on Sephora Online during the pre-launch 2 weeks ago. How crazy is that? I’ve never heard of any palette being sold out in Singapore because I hardly see any girls with eyeshadows on the streets. So… does this mean that I will start seeing more girls hitting town with eyeshadows now?
