Korean V.S. U.S. Lip Products: Review, Comparison & Swatches (Detailed)

Korean V.S. U.S. Lip Products
Remember my huge Korean haul on ShopandBox (full post here)? In my haul, I picked out several lip products that were made surprisingly similar to their U.S. counterparts. What better way to compare which is more desirable than to write a review for it? πŸ˜‰
I’ve put 3 different types of lip products to the test, namely 2 types of tinted lip balms and a lip stain. I’m going to be comparing:
  • Benefit Cha Cha Balm & Peri Pera Milk Balm in Peach

  • YSL Vernis Γ€ LΓ¨vres Glossy Stain (#14) & Espoir Waterstain Lip Glow (Bite Me)

Colour your lips with Etude House Color in Liquid Lips: Review & Swatches

Etude House Color in Liquid Lips
Step out in style this Spring with a pop of colour on your lips! With all the innovative lip products in the market now, it is no surprise that K-Beauty giant, Etude House, has launched a collection of colour water lipsticks that encompasses the beauty of a lipstick, a lip gloss and a lip stain – the Color in Liquid Lips.
Can you see how cute the packaging is? They look like regular lipsticks but the lipstick bullet motif on each one is to indicate the shade they contain. They are, in fact, liquid lipsticks! I love the adorable lips and water droplet prints on the tubes too for they bring out the name of the product really well. How apt! πŸ˜‰

An era of resplendent royal pageantry with Crabtree & Evelyn’s Old Windsor Eau de Cologne: Review

Crabtree & Evelyn's Old Windsor Eau de Cologne
Set upon the river, surrounded by an ancient oak forest, the village of Old Windsor was once the domain of kings and queens. Today, this area of natural beauty within castle grounds continues to be a much-loved place for more than just gentry. The aroma of this exhilarating scent is inspired by the timeless facets of Eau de Cologne, created with a sense of British tradition.
Personally I’ve never been to the United Kingdom, much less experience what it’s like to be walking through the old towns. Fortunately, looking at pictures of the village of Old Windsor while having this Crabtree & Evelyn Old Windsor Eau de Cologne in front of me to sniff makes me better understand its history and tradition.
