Solone Eyeliners, Eyebrow Pencil and Eyeshadow Stick: Review & Swatches

Solone Eyeliners, Eyebrow Pencil and Eyeshadow
You know how sometimes when you pay so much for a particular makeup product but it just doesn’t work for you? I’m sure we all encountered that at least once in our lives and it is very frustrating, I know! For me, a good example would be the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils. It NEVER works for me and it smudges the next hour after application.
Well, let me introduce you to a Taiwanese brand, Solone, affordable yet full of quality products! I am in love, especially with the eyeliner pencils! They stayed with me for a good 8-hours without budging, I’m impressed! I had been given a chance to try out the Rose Covering Makeup Remover Pencil, the Vivid Fantasy Smoody Pencil, Color Party One Step Magic Eyebrow Pencil and Magical Stick Eyeshadow and the Rose Garden Gel Eyeliners c/o Solone Singapore (the names are so long, pardon the hard-to-read sentence)!

(Did you know that the Smoody Pencil from the Alice Fantasy Adventure Series and Gel Eyeliner have been awarded #1 and #2 on the eyeliner category by Fashion Guide Taiwan this year, respectively?)

Inglot Cosmetics Eyeshadows, Concealer & Lipstick: Review & Swatches

Inglot Cosmetics
INGLOT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED IN SINGAPORE! Alright, I know this post is rather late because the retail boutique of Inglot Singapore is up since 1st October in Wisma Atria #B1-14. Well, I had to visit the boutique when it was opened because I have been hearing so many raves on social media about Inglot’s products, especially the eyeshadows! Being an obsessed (trust me when I say that) beauty junkie, I couldn’t resist and went home with a self-curated palette, a lipstick that smells heavenly and an under-eye concealer which I bought after I obtained a $20 voucher from my purchases on the official opening day.
What I like about Inglot is that they have a unique Freedom System which allows you to mix and match colours, and even products, to make your own custom designed palette of almost any size. The palette I have chosen is mainly for eyeshadows but they do come in different shapes and sizes to even cater to a variety of products like face powders, blushers and even lip products! You can definitely curate a full palette for your everyday makeup needs with Inglot.

Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette: Review & Swatches

Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary
It’s my exams period now and I was contemplating if I should do up the review of this Sephora Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary Pop-Up Party Eyeshadow Palette. I decided to take a break from all that studying and review this palette because there were too many requests for the quality and pigmentation! Also, I did a quick Google search and realised not many did reviews for this palette (surprisingly), hence here are my thoughts to better facilitate your purchase decisions!
I would say that I am definitely not an avid fan of Hello Kitty but I do have the entire Hello Kitty Wedding x MacDonald’s collection, the one that got the entire country (or countries) crazily flocking to the fast food chain to queue, courtesy of my mummy! With all the beautiful holiday launches, I decided to go ahead and get this palette (amongst the many I got) just because I couldn’t resist the packaging and the range of colours inside.
At the back of the box, there are the names of the eyeshadow colours and the shades are depicted as little Hello Kitty bows, how adorable! Majority of the shade names are very reflective of the anniversary theme, This is one packaging that you will not be able to resist, especially if you are a Hello Kitty fan!
(P.S. They could probably use a better word for what Hello Kitty is saying instead of “Hello!”.)

October 2014 Empties: Review

October 2014 Empties

Somehow, I have been using up products recently! It never occurred to me that I will be using up my makeup products months ago and now, I am writing my second review on my empties (products I have used up)! *Pats myself* for the achievement! Yes, it feels like an achievement to me to be able to religiously use something till it hits the last drop/bit.

October 2014 Empties consists of a range of products from makeup, skincare, haircare to home fragrance. “Wow, that’s impressive” was what I’m thinking as I type the previous sentence. I’m still in disbelief that I could use up a candle. One whole chunk of candle in less than 2 months :O Haha, anyway, here we go! I have a shampoo, a gel moisturiser, tea tree facial oil, a lipbalm, a brow gel and a home candle!
